Foreign Direct Investment in Singapore Rises 9.5% in 2024

Foreign Direct Investment, or FDI, in Singapore's corporate sector rose 9.5% to SG$3.130 trillion as at end-2024, from SG$2.859 trillion a year earlier, according to data released by the Department of Statistics Singapore on Thursday.
North America was the primary contributor to FDI, providing SG$875 billion, with Europe following at SG$791 billion.
Finance and insurance led in FDI, representing 65.5% of the total stock by the end of 2024.
