Nvidia (NVDA) said Saturday it has agreed to work with a group of operators and infrastructure providers to build 6G wireless network on open and secure artificial intelligence-native platforms.
The partners include Cisco Systems (CSCO), T-Mobile US (TMUS), Nokia (NOK), Ericsson (ERIC), and Booz Allen Hamilton Holding (BAH), among others, according to the statement.
Nvidia said 6G wireless networks are expected to support physical AI, as legacy wireless architectures "were not designed to meet these requirements."
