Shares of firms in the information technology sector advanced marginally at midday Wednesday, the only sector in the green.
Wisetech Global (ASX:WTC) shares gained nearly 2% in recent trade.
On the flip side, the materials sector struggled, shedding almost 3%.
NexGen Energy (ASX:NXG) reported Wednesday fourth quarter loss of CA$0.07 per share, compared with a loss of CA$0.11 a year earlier. Its shares fell 5% in recent trade.
