WIA Gold Finds High Grade Gold Mineralization at Namibia Project

WIA Gold (ASX:WIA) said it found high-grade gold mineralization during a recent drilling at its Kokoseb gold project in Namibia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 10.8 meters at 5.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 537.6 meters, including 4.6 meters at 11.2 g/t gold.
Results from 18 diamond drill holes targeting mineralized depth extensions beyond the current open-pit mineral resource estimate further confirm the continuity and scale of high-grade plunging shoots, while 10 reverse circulation holes have advanced infill drilling within the open-pit area, the filing added.
The company's shares rose almost 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
