随着美国、以色列与伊朗的冲突不断升级，中东关键枢纽地区局势动荡，而该地区已成为自动驾驶出租车行业最具潜力的市场。中国自动驾驶企业文远知行（WeRide）已暂停其在迪拜的自动驾驶出租车车队运营。
近年来，在友好的监管环境和旺盛的网约车需求吸引下，中国自动驾驶出租车企业纷纷将海湾地区作为首批海外扩张据点。
自 2021 年起就在该地区提供自动驾驶出租车服务的文远知行于周二表示，其在阿布扎比和利雅得的车队仍在继续正常的公开商业运营和载客服务。
该公司在中东地区的所有员工 “目前均居家办公，并减少不必要外出，以确保人身安全与健康”。
另外两家中国自动驾驶头部企业 ——百度阿波罗（Apollo Go）和小马智行（Pony.ai），均在密切监控地区局势。
百度阿波罗在一份声明中称：“正与当地监管机构密切沟通，将根据需要调整服务，确保员工安全，并对当地环境做出有序应对。”
百度旗下自动驾驶部门今年 1 月刚刚在阿布扎比启动商业化运营服务。
小马智行此前已暂停在多哈和迪拜的道路测试活动，周一已恢复多哈测试。
该公司表示，将 “在合适时机” 恢复迪拜测试，目前其在该地区仍处于测试阶段。
