Atomic Eagle Delivers Mineral Resources Increase at Zambia Project; Shares Up 7%

Atomic Eagle (ASX:AEU) posted a 24% increase in total mineral resources at its Muntanga project in Zambia to 58.8 million pounds uranium at 309 parts per million, following its maiden drilling campaign, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company is planning to conduct a major exploration drill program in the broader project area, which will focus on expanding newly defined resources and testing additional priority targets, the filing said.
Shares rose past 7% in morning trade Tuesday.
