明尼阿波利斯联储行长卡什卡里曾经预计今年将降息一次，但他表示，针对伊朗的袭击让他变得不那么确定。

　　“在当前地缘政治事件背景下，我们需要获得更多数据，”卡什卡里周二在纽约举行的彭博投资大会上表示。

　　他还表示，眼下通胀的关键问题在于上涨的能源价格会持续多久。美国和以色列对伊朗发动袭击并暗示冲突可能持续数周后，油价在周一和周二大幅上涨。

　　“现在判断对通胀的影响以及持续时间为时过早，”卡什卡里说。

　　在美联储1月会议维持利率不变后，外界预计政策制定者将在本月的会议上继续按兵不动。本周市场参与者也下调了对年内降息两次的预期。

　　卡什卡里重申对美联储主席鲍威尔的支持。尽管鲍威尔的主席任期将于5月结束，但他可选择继续以理事身份留任至2028年1月。

　　“我认为鲍威尔作为理事和主席都做得非常出色，如果他选择继续，我会很高兴，”卡什卡里表示。
