CNOOC's (HKG:0883, SHA:600938) actual controller, China National Offshore Oil Corporation, acquired an additional 705,500 China-listed and 2.2 million Hong Kong-listed shares in the firm, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The China- and Hong Kong-listed shares represent 0.0015% and 0.0046%, respectively, of the Chinese oil and gas producer's total issued shares.
Following the acquisitions, China National Offshore Oil and parties acting in concert with it directly and indirectly hold 29.5 billion, or 62.14%, shares in CNOOC.
