Stocks to Watch Wednesday: CrowdStrike, Gitlab, Moderna, Strategy, Coinbase -- WSJ

GitLab (GLTB): The software-development tools company said it expects slower annual sales growth, stoking concerns around the threat artificial intelligence poses for the sector. Shares fell 9% in premarket trading.

CrowdStrike (CRWD): The cybersecurity software company posted strong quarterly earnings and said clients are increasingly turning to it because AI poses more complicated cyber threats. Shares rose 1% premarket.

Moderna (MRNA): The vaccine maker settled a patent dispute, resolving litigation over its Covid-19 jab. Shares jumped 5% ahead of the open.

Strategy (MSTR), Coinbase (COIN), Robinhood (HOOD): With cryptocurrencies rallying, shares in Bitcoin holder Strategy jumped premarket, as did crypto exchange Coinbase and online-trading platform Robinhood.

Bayer (XE:BAYN, BAYRY): The agriculture and pharmaceutical company reported widening losses due to its legal battle over the Roundup weedkiller. Shares fell roughly 2.5% in Germany.
