日本央行行长植田和男警告称，中东冲突可能会对日本经济产生重大影响，此番言论可能会强化投资者预期该行将在本月晚些时候的会议上保持政策稳定。

　　植田和男周三在国会回答提问时表示，“根据事态未来的发展，可能会通过原油和其他能源价格以及国际金融市场等渠道对全球经济和日本经济产生重大影响。”

　　植田和男承诺将密切关注事态发展，美国和以色列对伊朗的打击已波及整个中东地区。植田和男的谨慎态度表明，他对日本央行在3月19日决策中加息的意愿并不强。

　　植田和男表示，“目前我无法做出任何确切的判断。我们将继续密切关注中东局势的发展及其对国内外经济和金融市场的影响。”

　　尽管该行将密切关注伊朗战争，但植田和男也重申了日本央行的立场，即如果每季度更新的经济前景成为现实，那么提高基准利率是合适的。
