摩根大通首席执行官杰米·戴蒙警告称，对美国经济而言，通胀可能会成为“派对上的臭鼬”。
“通胀可能比人们预想的要高，如果这种情况真的发生，那就像派对上来了只臭鼬一样扫兴，”戴蒙周一在迈阿密举行的摩根大通年度杠杆融资会议上接受采访时表示，“希望这种情况不会发生。”
这是戴蒙近期再次借动物来比喻金融体系中正在酝酿的风险。就在几个月前，他曾警告称信贷市场出现的裂痕就像“蟑螂”，预示着还会有更多问题浮现。上周，他还提醒称，一些贷款领域的竞争对手为追逐盈利正在做“傻事”。
美国上个月发布的通胀数据显示，年初物价涨幅相对温和，1月份消费者价格指数环比仅上涨0.2%。不过自那以来，美国和以色列对伊朗发动导弹袭击，推动油价飙升，并引发外界对通胀上行的担忧。
特朗普警告称针对伊朗的轰炸行动袭击可能会持续数周。周末的空袭导致伊朗最高领袖哈梅内伊以及其他高级官员丧生。
“目前这会略微推高汽油价格，不过如果这种情况持续时间不长，就不会造成严重的通胀冲击，”戴蒙说。“但如果这种情况持续很长时间，那就另当别论了。”
