消息面上，美国与以色列2月28日联手对伊朗发动大规模袭击，华尔街日报称，美国总统特朗普利用科技公司Anthropic对伊朗发动了一次大规模空袭。知情人士证实，包括美国中央司令部在内的各地指挥机构都在使用Anthropic公司的Claude人工智能工具，该指挥部使用该工具进行情报评估、目标识别和模拟战斗场景，这凸显了人工智能工具在军事行动中的参与程度。
据悉，这不是美国第一次在重大军事行动中使用Anthropic的AI技术，《华尔街日报》过去曾报道，Claude模型曾被用于协助抓捕委内瑞拉前总统马杜罗。Claude之所以能在针对马杜罗的军事行动提供支援，是因Anthropic与数据分析公司Palantir的合作，Palantir的平台受到战争部与执法机关广泛应用。
