0828 GMT - Europe's blue-chip indexes are mostly up at the opening bell as markets find respite after intense selling during days of conflict in the Middle East. Technology stocks rally in Germany, helping the DAX up 0.6% as software firm SAP jumps 1.9%. Software companies also rise in London, with Experian and Pearson both climbing by more than 2%. The FTSE 100 gains 0.1%, also boosted by healthcare stocks. The CAC 40 gains 0.4% in Paris, as food company Danone climbs 2.5%, while automakers stage a limited recovery after falling heavily following on the conflict. Autos also help Italy's FTSE MIB gain 0.2%, while defense group Leonardo jumps 2%. The Spanish IBEX 35 is the one exception. The index falls 0.3% as banks extend losses.
