SAIC Motor (SHA:600104) reported an 8.64% year-on-year drop in vehicle sales in February to 269,465 units, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange filing on Monday.
Production likewise dropped 5.77% from a year earlier to 247,898 units.
Of the total, SAIC's electric vehicle sales tumbled 17% year on year to 71,340 units, while EV output fell 11% to 61,705 units.
