1055 GMT - The world is moving toward physical artificial intelligence where machines communicate directly with machines, Nokia's Chief Executive Justin Hotard says at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Most network traffic at present is primarily driven by interactions between humans and machines, he says. Hotard cites 77 exabytes of traffic a month, with more than half coming from mobile devices. "But as we move into the era of agentic and into physical AI, which is now upon us, we will see machine-to-machine communications become the primary driver of traffic," he says. (mauro.orru@wsj.com)
