Northern Minerals (ASX:NTU) said shareholder Vastness Investment has withdrawn a notice that required it to convene an extraordinary general meeting, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The withdrawal has been noted by the Supreme Court of New South Wales, and the company is no longer required to convene the meeting, the filing added.

The company had commenced proceedings in the Supreme Court of New South Wales seeking orders to further defer the last date on which the 2025 annual general meeting must be held and to permit it to hold the requisitioned extraordinary general meeting on the same date as the annual general meeting, the filing added.

The company's shares fell 3% in recent Tuesday trade.
