光明日报乌鲁木齐3月4日电（记者赵明昊、黄小异、姚昆）记者从中国石油塔里木油田获悉，截至3月3日，油田累计生产天然气突破5000亿立方米大关。
据测算，5000亿立方米天然气相当于替代标煤约6.6亿吨，减少二氧化碳排放约7.3亿吨，环保效益相当于种植阔叶林22亿公顷。这些清洁能源不仅让南疆的天空更蓝，也促进了我国中东部特别是长三角地区的能源和产业结构优化升级，创造了巨大的社会、经济和生态效益。
塔里木盆地是我国陆上最大含油气盆地，也是勘探难度最大、增储上产潜力最大的区域之一。
1998年，我国当时最大的整装气田——克拉2气田的发现，直接促成了西气东输工程建设。塔里木油田先后发现克拉-克深、博孜-大北两个万亿立方米大气区，成功开发19座大中型气田。
当下，塔里木油田生产的天然气通过西气东输管道惠及沿线15个省区市，并通过“气化南疆”工程覆盖南疆众多县市和团场，让清洁能源走进千家万户。
