1121 ET - In the event the current conflict between the U.S. and Iran escalates into a sustained campaign with troops deployed, Key Banc analysts Michael Leschock and Liam Baker say in a research note that the earliest "beneficiaries" would likely be aerospace and defense companies tied to immediate operational demand. These include manufacturers of ammunition and missiles, as well as the sustainment and logistics companies that keep aircraft and equipment mission-capable. The analysts call out AeroVironment, Redwire and Kratos Defense & Security Solutions as seeing early incremental upside, with companies including AAR and Heico as seeing second-order upside.
