俄罗斯煤炭行业是受经济放缓和西方制裁冲击最严重的行业之一。该行业三分之二的企业在2025年报告亏损。去年，政府曾向煤矿企业提供了一些援助以维持其运营。
位于西西伯利亚克麦罗沃地区的Chertinskaya-Koksovaya煤矿在2025年生产了120万吨煤炭。公司没有透露该矿的员工人数。
MMK Coal在一份新闻稿中表示：“暂停煤矿运营的决定受到多种外部因素的影响，包括煤炭精矿价格大幅下跌、成本上升以及钢铁制造商对焦煤的消费减少。”
报告指出，该矿多个季度的生产成本显著高于市场价格。公司补充表示，将为矿工提供就业安置选择。
