日本政府正考虑为其对美5500亿美元投资承诺的第二批项目提供总计约15万亿日元的资金。

　　被列为主要投资候选的项目包括：下一代核反应堆建设、液晶显示器（LCD）和有机发光二极管显示器（OLED）生产工厂，以及铜冶炼设施。

　　其中规模最大的将是核反应堆建设，日本正审议一项建设10座由美国西屋公司制造的核反应堆的提案。
