ChainCatcher 消息，美国《CLARITY 法案》讨论引发银行业与白宫加密政策官员公开争论，德州独立银行家协会总裁 Christopher Williston VI 在 X 平台发文公开表示如果银行业在该法案上做出妥协将损害地方贷款与经济生产能力，并称不会在支撑地方经济的流动性问题上退让。
对此，白宫数字资产顾问委员会执行主任 Patrick Witt 回应称，若在《CLARITY 法案》问题上不作任何妥协，意味着不会对中介机构提供稳定币奖励设立限制，若按照银行业关于“存款外流”的说法，这种情况可能带来灾难性后果，这一逻辑“就像看着一名纵火者威胁要烧毁自己的房子”。
