ChainCatcher 消息，以太坊联合创始人 Vitalik Buterin 表示，在 AI 代理日益普及的背景下，加密隐私技术对于保护用户的 API 调用模式与行为数据至关重要。他指出，即便使用本地 AI 代理，如果外部服务能够看到全部搜索或 API 调用记录，仍然可以推断出用户正在进行的活动。
Vitalik 认为，一种初步解决方案是通过 mixnet（混合网络）转发请求以隐藏访问来源，但服务提供商可能因遭遇 DoS 攻击而要求引入反滥用机制及按调用付费模式，而现实中这些支付方式往往依赖信用卡或缺乏隐私保护的稳定币体系。因此，他强调需要具备隐私属性的加密支付方案。
他进一步指出，隐私保护需要从完整技术栈（full stack）层面考虑，其中本地 AI 代理层尤为关键。Vitalik 将其类比为健康寿命问题：如果存在多个损害因素，逐一解决会带来叠加式收益；同样，减少数据泄露风险的措施也会产生类似的复合效果。
