亚特兰大联邦储备银行备受关注的GDPNow模型显示，其对美国第一季度国内生产总值（GDP）的预估值在周五大幅下调至折合年率2.1%，远低于周一预测的3.0%。
这家地区联储银行表示，预测下调的主要原因是，1月至3月实际个人消费支出增长预期从2.8%降至1.8%，同时实际国内私人投资总额增长预期从7.9%放缓至6.8%。
该行强调，这一预测“并非亚特兰大联储的官方预测。更准确地说，应将其视为基于当前衡量季度的可用经济数据，对实际GDP增长进行的动态估算。GDPNow模型不进行任何主观调整——其估算完全基于模型的数学计算结果。”
