Nokia Unit Secures Contract From US Missile Defense Agency

Nokia's (NOK) Nokia Federal Solutions said Wednesday it has secured an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for the Missile Defense Agency's Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense program with a $151 billion ceiling.

The deal covers multiple work categories to quickly provide new technological capabilities to military personnel, the company said.

The award positions Nokia Federal Solutions to compete for future task orders, Nokia said.

Shares of Nokia were up about 3% in recent trading.
