Stellar Resources (ASX:SRZ) said recent drilling intersected several zones of significant tin mineralization at its Heemskirk tin project in Australia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The results were up to 22 meters at 0.5% tin from 479.7 meters, including 2.6 meters at 1.5% tin from 499.1 meters.

The company said the results support continued resource conversion at the Severn Deposit as part of the Heemskirk Tin Project, with expectations to upgrade material from inferred to indicated while expanding the 2023 mineral resource estimate.

Stellar said that, with the mineral resource estimate increase at Queen Hill, its total mineral resource now exceeds 100,000 tonnes of contained tin across the Heemskirk Tin Project and the nearby St Dizier satellite deposit.

The company expects to report updated resources for the Severn Deposit and complete the pre-feasibility study in the second quarter as additional holes are drilled to maximize the resource size used in the study.

The company's shares were up past 5% in recent Thursday trade.
