ChainCatcher 消息，据 BitcoinNews 报道，加密交易平台 Coinbase 被指可能在幕后游说美国立法者，反对为比特币设立小额交易税收豁免，并建议将该豁免范围仅限于稳定币。
此前比特币政策倡导者 Marty Bent 在社交媒体发文披露，Coinbase 已向立法者表示“没有人把比特币当作货币使用”，并认为为比特币设立小额免税政策将是“注定无法通过的补贴”。加密社区认为，如果相关情况属实将“非常令人担忧”，外界对近期加密立法（如 GENIUS Act 等）的担忧相吻合，即部分政策可能受到特殊利益集团和监管俘获的影响，而非真正推动创新。在过去三个月里，美国国会山的政策讨论出现明显变化，一些提案倾向于仅为稳定币提供小额交易税收豁免，而将比特币排除在外。
另据比特币倡议组织 Bitcoin Policy Institute 表示，目前仍在与立法者持续沟通，将小额免税政策仅限于稳定币将是美国政策上的战略性错误，此前该机构长期倡导对小额比特币交易免征资本利得税。
