微软正开始勾勒其下一代Xbox的计划，表示预计将在2027年向游戏开发者发送早期游戏机原型。
微软Xbox部门的副总裁杰森·罗纳德表示，即将推出的系统将采用由超威半导体公司定制的芯片。该公司预计，该硬件将带来图形性能的重大飞跃，包括更强大的光线追踪能力，以及直接内置于图形和计算管线中的人工智能驱动改进。
据罗纳德称，其目标是为开发者提供构建更细致、更具沉浸感的游戏世界所需的工具，同时提高效率和整体性能。
微软计划从2027年开始向开发者发送早期的“alpha”版本硬件，让工作室有时间试用新系统，并开始为其最终发布准备游戏。
