Australia's Takeovers Panel made interim orders in response to Akat Investments' application, requiring the further adjournment of the general meeting of Humm Group (ASX:HUM) shareholders convened by Jeremy Raper and Sandhurst Trustees as custodian for Collins St Value Fund to a date that is no earlier than April 20 and no later than May 4, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The meeting was adjourned to Friday, March 13, by Humm in accordance with the Panel's initial interim orders. A notice of the adjourned meeting must be issued by Humm, in compliance with the notice requirements in its constitution, in a form acceptable to the Panel.

The Panel considers that interim orders are necessary to preserve the status quo.

The firm's shares fell 1% in recent trading on Wednesday.
