SAO PAULO, March 9 (Reuters) - Oil producer Chevron CVX.N is in advanced talks with Brazilian conglomerate Ultrapar UGPA3.SA to purchase a 30% stake in fuel distributor Ipiranga, Brazil Journal reported on Monday, citing two sources familiar with the matter.
Chevron and Ultrapar did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
