优步（Uber）周一推出一项新功能，允许美国各地的女性乘客和女性司机在行程中优先匹配女性，从而扩大一项旨在解决网约车平台安全担忧的试点项目。

　　该功能通过一篇博客文章宣布，允许女性用户在应用程序中选择名为“Women Drivers（女性司机）”的选项来请求女性司机。如果等待女性司机时间过长，乘客可以选择其他车辆，也可以提前预约由女性司机接单的行程。第三种方式是，女性用户可以在应用设置中将女性司机设为偏好选项，从而提高与女性司机匹配的概率，不过并不能保证一定匹配成功。优步还允许其青少年账户用户请求女性司机。

　　优步的女性司机也可以在应用设置中选择偏好接载女性乘客，并且可以随时关闭这一偏好设置。

　　总部位于旧金山的优步表示，在美国其司机中约有五分之一是女性，不过这一比例在不同城市之间有所差异。
