ChainCatcher 消息，据 The Block 报道，以太坊研究人员基于执行客户端 Ethrex 演示了 “原生 Rollups” 概念验证，通过新增 EXECUTE 预编译实现 EIP-8079，在以太坊基础层直接重放并验证 Layer 2 区块状态变更。
该方案无需依赖零知识证明或欺诈证明，而是由以太坊自身执行并确认 Rollup 交易有效性，相关合约用于跟踪 Rollup 状态、跨层消息桥接及基于 Merkle-Patricia 证明的提现验证。开发者称，原生 Rollups 可简化二层长期维护，使其直接继承以太坊的安全和升级属性，目前仍处于探索和概念验证阶段。
