Power Construction Consortium Secures 5.6 Billion Yuan Montenegro Expressway Project

A consortium consisting of Power Construction Corp. of China (SHA:601669) and its subsidiaries signed a 5.64 billion yuan contract for the engineering and construction of the Mateševo-Andrijevica Expressway Project in Montenegro, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.
The expressway, which is a crucial transportation corridor connecting the capital Podgorica with the Serbia-Montenegro border, measures 22 kilometers.
The contract is valid for 60 months.
The power company's shares fell less than 2% during the midday trade.
