美国参议院银行委员会主席Tim Scott与美联储主席杰罗姆·鲍威尔进行了交谈并建议他再次到委员会作证。

　　Scott表示，鲍威尔在之前的作证中“准备严重不足，但他并没有任何犯罪行为”。

　　“我希望那起诉讼能撤销。那样我们就可以非常迅速地推动让凯文·沃什成为下一任美联储主席，”他补充道。
