Existing Home Sales Will Gradually Improve Pending Iran Conflict -- Market Talk

1318 ET - Existing home sales will gradually improve this year, assuming the war in Iran doesn't persist long enough to push interest rates higher or weaken the labor market, Oxford Economics says. After February's home sales rose after mortgage rates eased, they expect more sellers to return to the market as the spring selling season gets into full swing. "We expect annual home price growth to remain positive at the national level, but home price trends continue to diverge by region," says Oxford's lead U.S. economist Nancy Vanden Houten.
