据报道，蒙古国政府正寻求重新谈判与力拓集团的一笔贷款协议。该贷款资金此前用于为蒙古方面在奥尤陶勒盖大型铜金矿的建设中承担其出资份额。
报道称，蒙古国有矿业公司Erdenes Mongol LLC持有奥尤陶勒盖项目34%的股份。蒙古政府希望下调贷款利率，并削减力拓作为矿山管理方每年收取的管理费。
根据报道，蒙古总理赞丹沙塔尔与力拓集团铜业务负责人Katie Jackson将于本周会面，讨论该合资项目的商业条款。
力拓发言人在一份电子邮件声明中表示：“我们正与蒙古国政府进行积极谈判。这些讨论体现了我们持续致力于携手合作，充分释放奥尤陶勒盖项目潜力，使所有合作方受益。”
