ChainCatcher 消息，据 CloverPool 比特币浏览器数据，在比特币 2009 年 1 月创世区块诞生 17 年零两个多月后，网络跨越了最重要里程碑之一，现已挖出供应量突破 2000 万枚。
该里程碑在区块高度 939,999 达成，当前区块补贴为 3.125 BTC。
此前于 11 月，网络已突破总供应量的 95%。随着网络经历多次减半，新发行速度逐步放缓，目前剩余可挖区块补贴奖励不足 100 万枚 BTC，直至矿工最终完全依赖交易手续费。
下一次减半预计在 2028 年 4 月 11 日。由于每次减半进一步减少发行量，剩余供应将以越来越慢的速度释放。分析师估计，最后 100 万枚币将需要一个多世纪才能挖完，最小单位聪预计将在 2140 年左右发行。
