越南政府表示，计划取消燃料进口关税，以确保中东军事冲突导致供应中断期间的燃料供给。
越南政府在周日夜间发布的声明中表示，关税取消措施预计将持续至4月底，财政部正在起草相关决议。越南燃料进口关税最高达20%，但从与越南签订自由贸易协定的国家进口燃料大多免征关税。
自美以与伊朗开战以来，越南国内燃料价格已上涨21%-32%。
越南政府称，截至4月底的关税豁免措施将使国家财政收入减少1.02万亿越南盾（3，900万美元）。政府声明称：“此项关税豁免方案被视为必要举措，旨在支持企业主动保障供应来源，有助于稳定国内石油市场并保障能源安全。”
