3月9日，Coinbase机构业务策略主管John D'Agostino表示，最近加密货币市场略显下行，市场交易量和散户兴趣减，机构投资比特币或加密货币的速度亦放慢，但相信此轮行情只是周期性表现。
他认为，这次市场下行周期比之前稳健，截至目前为止，没有看到像加密货币交易所FTX般重大诈欺破产倒闭事件。他坦言，机构投资速度减缓了，但市场下行也可能会加快投资速度。放眼三至五年，他相信未来的发展方向不会改变，市场会朝着稳定币主导价值转移的方向前进，比特币仍会是关注通胀的投资者之核心投资组合的一部分。
