金吾财讯 | 欧洲最大的汽车制造商大众汽车正将其电池业务的雄心从电动汽车扩展至大规模储能和能源交易领域，因全球电动汽车需求未达此前预期。大众汽车周一在德国萨尔茨吉特启动了其首个大型储能设施。该项目隶属于大众能源子公司Elli，可为多达2万户家庭提供约两小时的电力供应。该设施直接接入电网，还将用于在欧洲电力交易所EPEX SPOT进行能源交易。其使用的电池来自大众内部的PowerCo部门。随着电池供应商降价以及电动汽车增长放缓，大众正寻求新的电池收入来源。该公司此前曾设定目标，到2030年具备每年为约300万辆电动汽车提供电池的产能。随着耗电量巨大的数据中心激增以及更多可再生能源电站接入电网，储能需求正迅速上升。
