智通财经APP获悉，Oklo (OKLO.US) 与 Centrus Energy (LEU.US) 周一表示，双方将寻求讨论建立一家合资企业，专注于高丰度低铀浓缩(HALEU)的转化还原服务，并推动相关燃料循环技术和供应链的发展。
该合资企业的活动将在 Centrus 位于俄亥俄州派克顿(Piketon)的厂区开展，该地与 Centrus 的浓缩业务位于同一地点，并毗邻 Oklo 计划建设的 1.2 GW(吉瓦)电力园区。
两家公司表示，该合资企业旨在实现铀浓缩与转化还原的集成与高效耦合，通过同址办公提高效率并降低成本，并扩大美国国内先进核燃料的产能。
Oklo 和 Centrus 表示，在 Centrus 的派克顿基地开发浓缩和转化还原服务，应能提高效率、扩大国内产能，并有助于解决被广泛视为核电技术大规模部署进程中潜在的核燃料瓶颈问题。
