ChainCatcher 消息，据《卫报》报道，代表摩根大通、高盛和花旗等 40 家美国大型银行的行业组织银行政策研究所（BPI）正在权衡起诉美国货币监理署（OCC）。BPI 指出，由特朗普任命的 OCC 署长 Jonathan Gould 正在重新解释联邦许可规则，使加密公司和金融科技初创公司更容易获得“全国性银行信托牌照”，从而在全美 50 个州开展业务。
BPI 认为，此举允许这些公司在缺乏严格监管和控制的情况下进入美国金融体系，可能危及消费者和金融系统的稳定。该机构曾于 10 月敦促 OCC 拒绝 Circle、Ripple 以及支付公司 Wise 的牌照申请。此外，由特朗普家族经营的加密企业 World Liberty Financial 已于今年 1 月申请了该类牌照。目前，代表全美 50 州监管机构的 CSBS 及代表 5000 家小型银行的 ICBA 也对 OCC 的这一政策表达了强烈反对。
