瑞士宝盛分析师Norbert Ruecker在一份报告中表示，随着供应中断情况的演变和一些生产商开始停产，石油和天然气价格在整个3月份可能会在当前水平附近交易。他预计，依赖霍尔木兹海峡航运的中东石油供应中，下周可能有多达75%面临临时中断，不过沙特阿拉伯、阿联酋和伊拉克拥有绕开该海峡的管道。临时停产可能会减少但不会消除今年石油市场的过剩局面。他补充说，需求停滞和产量增加（尤其是在南美）应会保持供应充足。不过，不断上涨的车用燃料价格值得关注，尤其是在美国。如果特朗普政府对石油出口实施限制，这将引发更剧烈、更持久的油价飙升。
