1233 ET - Wall Street appears cautious about restaurant stocks due to market volatility and broader macroeconomic risks, despite solid underlying trends across the industry, UBS analysts say in a note. Investors have concerns over rising inflation, the geopolitical climate and the rise of GLP-1 drugs, and they worry that an expected boost from tax rebates could underwhelm, the analysts say. Investors are also focused on the effects of rising gas prices and supply chain costs from the conflict in the Middle East, however they largely understand that restaurants have limited exposure to the region, the analysts say.(kelly.cloonan@wsj.com)
