3月9日，据科技媒体Futurism，SEO公司Growtika的研究发现，自谷歌搜索引擎的AI概述功能推出后，新闻网站来自谷歌搜索的访问量明显下降。
Growtika分析Ahrefs从2024年初到2026年初美国用户访问10家主要科技媒体网站的统计数据指出，这些媒体在流量高峰期每月从谷歌获得约1.12亿次访问，但到今年1月已降到不到5000万，部分媒体在AI Overviews上线后流量跌幅甚至超过90%。不同媒体的情况略有差别，但整体趋势一致。
谷歌发言人对此表示：“Growtika的分析存在根本性问题，研究样本网站数量很少，也没有考虑正常的季节性流量变化。更重要的是，用户的内容偏好正在转向播客、论坛等不同形式。随着科技和媒体环境变化，我们正在设计产品，让使用者更容易连接到他们重视的网站和创作者。”
