Prudential (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) bought back 375,388 shares in London on Monday at an average price of about 10.50 pounds sterling apiece, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The insurer intends to cancel the repurchased shares.
Following the transaction, the company will have about 2.53 billion shares in issue.
