ChainCatcher 消息，法国里昂警方逮捕了 12 名涉嫌策划去年一起加密货币绑架案的嫌疑人。此前，约 150 名武装军警于 2025 年 8 月 31 日在 Drôme 地区 Valence 火车站附近突袭一栋建筑，解救了一名被绑架四天的 22 岁瑞士男子。绑架者要求以加密货币支付赎金，受害者在被囚禁期间受到严重虐待和伤害。
警方表示，此次逮捕是数月调查的结果，目前已识别并牵涉约 20 名相关人员。行动当天逮捕了一名主谋及另外两人，9 月初又逮捕 7 人，其中 6 人年龄在 24 至 30 岁之间，1 人未满 18 岁。检方已对上述人员提起绑架、非法拘禁、有组织犯罪、敲诈勒索、非法持有武器及共谋等指控。
3 月 2 日，警方再次展开大规模行动，逮捕 18 人，其中 3 人被羁押。此外，Versailles 警方正在追捕 3 名冒充警察持刀抢劫一对夫妇价值 100 万美元比特币的嫌疑人。2023 年至 2025 年底，法国警方共处理 40 起加密货币相关绑架案件。
