Shares of Nextdc (ASX:NXT) rose past 1%, WiseTech Global (ASX:WTC) fell 4%, and Technology One (ASX:TNE) slid 1% in recent trading on Wednesday after Anthropic said it will expand to Australia and New Zealand with the opening of an office in Sydney.
The artificial intelligence firm plans to hire a team in Sydney and deepen its engagement with Australian institutions. It added that it was exploring opportunities to expand its compute capacity in Australia.
