韩国央行副行长Park Jong Woo周四在记者会上表示，鉴于伊朗局势存在高度不确定性，央行在作出利率决定时需要比以往更加谨慎。
他表示，自上一次货币政策委员会会议以来，政策环境已显著变化。
中东局势将对未来货币政策产生相当大的影响，当前不确定性仍然很高，甚至难以为经济预测建立一个“基准情景”。
韩国央行的立场是一贯的：一旦金融市场波动扩大，将启动市场稳定措施；央行也将根据形势变化在必要时继续采取市场应对行动。
韩国央行本周早些时候宣布直接购买政府债券。Park对此解释称，当时三年期国债收益率上升超过20个基点，若放任不管，可能波及信用市场、短期资金市场以及整体债券市场。
