Daido Metal's Nine-Month Profit Jumps 67%

Daido Metal's (TYO:7245) profit attributable to owners of the parent jumped 67% to 2.46 billion yen for the nine months ended Dec. 31, 2025, from 1.47 billion yen a year earlier.

The metal product manufacturer's basic earnings per share increased to 52.39 yen from 31.20 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Tuesday.

Net sales rose 4.0% to 103.4 billion yen from 99.4 billion yen in the prior-year period.

The company has maintained its full-year forecast for the year ending March 31, expecting attributable profit of 4 billion yen, basic EPS of 85.25 yen, and net sales of 134 billion yen.

Daido Metal plans to pay a year-end dividend of 16 yen per share, bringing the total annual dividend to 28 yen, which is higher than the 18 yen paid in the previous year.
