MDA Space Looks to Tap Into U.S. Market with NYSE IPO -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
Mar 11

1127 GMT - MDA Space is preparing to enter the U.S. market by launching an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange. The Canadian space-technology company has been gaining momentum as government and commercial demand for space missions grows, securing major Canadian contracts for upcoming lunar programs, including its work on Canadarm3. MDA is also positioned to benefit from rising Canadian defense spending and is expanding its presence in Europe and other international markets. To support the growth, the company plans to raise $300 million through its U.S. IPO, with the potential to increase the offering by an additional 15% under its underwriting agreement.
